Role Overview

The Implementation Engineer is a

hands-on senior network engineer

responsible for deploying and implementing

modern data center network architectures

within enterprise environments. This role focuses on executing finalized designs, particularly

VXLAN EVPN fabrics ,

BGP underlay/overlay , and

Arista-based solutions .

This is a

production-facing implementation role , not a support or NOC position. The ideal candidate has

direct, hands-on experience deploying and troubleshooting data center networks

using Cisco Nexus and Arista technologies.

Key Responsibilities

Execute hands-on implementation of finalized

Arista and Cisco Nexus network designs

Deploy and validate

VXLAN EVPN fabrics

in spine–leaf architectures

Configure and troubleshoot

BGP underlay and overlay

Perform network migrations and cutovers, including weekend activities when required

Run and troubleshoot

Ansible playbooks

for network automation and configuration tasks

Validate configurations through testing to ensure stability, security, and performance

Document implementations, SOPs, and configuration standards

Collaborate with architects, project managers, and client engineering teams

Support post-implementation optimization and tuning

Requirements

Mandatory

3+ years of hands-on experience in

data center networking

Hands-on experience with

Cisco Nexus (9K preferred)

Hands-on experience with

Arista switches

in production environments

Proven experience implementing

VXLAN EVPN

Strong working knowledge of

BGP , including underlay and overlay concepts

Experience with

spine–leaf architectures

Ability to run and troubleshoot

Ansible playbooks

in network environments

Experience participating in

network migrations / change windows

Experience with

Arista CloudVision Portal (CVP)

Python scripting for network automation

Unix/Linux exposure

CCNP or CCIE certification

Financial services environment experience

Availability to work weekends for migrations when required
