Mid Level Electrical Designer

Kiewit Mexico offers construction management and engineering services in a variety of markets, including energy, oil, gas, chemicals, terminals, marine works, and mining.

Responsibilities Utilize applicable engineering international and local codes.

Ensure deadlines are met and budgets are maintained.

Participate in design reviews and meetings with clients and other stakeholders.

Familiar with computer operation and should have the ability to use electrical department design software programs with guidance.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field.

5+ years of experience designing electrical systems as conduit and cabletray modeling for aboveground and underground systems.

Ability to read panel boards schedules, oneline diagrams and cable schedule.

Ability to read control and telecom architectures.

Knowledge of electrical industry standards and regulations.

Proficiency intermediate / advanced in Revit conduit / cable tray modeling.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

English preferred but not required.

NEC & CEC knowledge is a plus.
