Uptalent.io, a leading provider of Structural engineering services, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Remote Structural Design Engineer to join their team. As a Remote Structural Design , you will have the opportunity to work for an award winning structural engineering firm providing design services for architects, developers, contractors and owners.. Drawing on your knowledge of engineering principles and best practices, you will work to ensure the safety and efficacy of each project, from start to finish.

Responsibilities Design structural steel, reinforced concrete, masonry, wood and glass structures

Analyze gravity and lateral load resisting systems

Design and detail structural elements •

Create drawings and communicate with Drafting and BIM Department •

Coordinate drawings with other disciplines (Architects, MEP Engineers, etc.) •

Respond to RFI’s and review shop drawings

Requirements

Master’s degree or 5 year equivalent degree in Civil, Structural or Architectural Engineering

Good structure behavior intuition

Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work within a team

Strong organizational skills

Effective written and verbal communication abilities.
