Position Summary

We are looking for a Technical Analyst Trainer – C++ to join our team in Guadalajara and deliver an intensive technical training program for aspiring Technical Analysts.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on C++ development/programming knowledge combined with practical experience in the banking and payments domain. This person will be responsible for translating complex technical and business concepts into structured, easy-to-understand training content and preparing trainees to work effectively in a production technology environment.

The role requires someone who can act as both a technical mentor and domain trainer, with the ability to explain C++ concepts, application architecture, troubleshooting, databases, APIs, and payment/banking processes to early-career professionals.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Training

- Design and deliver structured training sessions covering C++ programming and application development.

- Teach core concepts including:

- C++ fundamentals and OOP

- STL and memory management

- Pointers, references, and exception handling

- Data structures and algorithms

- Debugging and troubleshooting

- File handling and system-level programming

- C++ application development and best practices

- Provide hands-on coding exercises, technical assessments, case studies, and real-world scenarios.

- Review trainee assignments and provide constructive technical feedback.

- Identify knowledge gaps and provide additional coaching where required.

Banking & Payments Domain Training

- Introduce trainees to banking and financial services concepts, particularly payment processing.

- Provide practical understanding of:

- Payment processing lifecycle

- Transaction processing

- Payment gateways and payment systems

- Authorization, clearing, and settlement

- Card payments / POS transactions

- ACH, wire transfers, and electronic payments

- Transaction failures, reversals, refunds, and chargebacks

- Financial transaction security and controls

- Explain how C++-based applications and backend systems support high-volume financial transactions.

Technical Analyst Preparation

- Train candidates on application support and technical analysis concepts.

- Teach incident investigation, root-cause analysis, log analysis, debugging, and problem resolution.

- Provide exposure to SQL/database concepts, APIs, Linux/Unix environments, and system monitoring where applicable.

- Develop troubleshooting scenarios based on real-world banking and payment applications.

- Prepare trainees for production support, application maintenance, and technical analyst responsibilities.

Training & Mentoring

- Create training plans, technical documentation, presentations, labs, and assessments.

- Conduct knowledge checks and monitor trainee progress throughout the program.

- Mentor trainees on technical problem-solving and professional development.

- Collaborate with technical SMEs and business stakeholders to continuously improve the training curriculum.

- Maintain training quality and ensure trainees meet defined technical competency standards.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Engineering, or a related field.

- Strong professional experience with C++.

- Excellent understanding of Object-Oriented Programming and software development principles.

- Experience developing, supporting, debugging, or maintaining enterprise applications.

- Strong banking, financial services, or payments domain experience.

- Experience explaining technical concepts to junior developers, analysts, trainees, or other non-expert audiences.

- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

- Advanced English communication skills, both written and verbal.

- Willingness to work onsite in Guadalajara, Jalisco.
