Lead ai software engineer

We are building a Lead AI Software Engineer role to deliver scalable Python microservices that automate content generation and marketing workflows. You will integrate generative and diffusion models, connect outputs to Python evaluation harnesses, and deploy containerized services on AWS in a fast-moving Kanban setup. Responsibilities Design, implement, and maintain scalable Python microservices with Fast API for automated content and marketing material generation Optimize and integrate diffusion models and multimodal generative AI tooling, including image and video generation pipelines Connect generation pipelines to custom Python-based evaluation harnesses to validate output quality prior to deployment Deploy containerized workloads to cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code Contribute to daily Kanban discussions, backlog grooming, and rapid feature iteration with senior architecture leadership Deliver high-throughput generative AI content pipelines that reduce manual marketing asset creation time Ensure new model versions integrate into the automated Python evaluation harness with zero regression in output quality Maintain stable, containerized Fast API microservices on cloud infrastructure with robust error handling Requirements Proven track record of 5+ years in software engineering with deep expertise in Python backend development Demonstrated experience delivering production applications that use generative AI, large language models, and diffusion models Hands-on experience with asynchronous backend frameworks such as Fast API, plus cloud deployment on AWS or GCPSolid background in automated testing, evaluation harnesses, and MLOps principles in Python Strong proficiency with Python, Fast API, and AWS or GCPDeep understanding of Generative AI and diffusion models, including LLMs and image/video generation Working knowledge of CI/CD, Docker, and Git Nice to have Experience with Adobe Firefly or commercial creative generation APIs Familiarity with Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code tools Knowledge of Computer Vision libraries such as Open CV and FFmpeg Background in Media & Entertainment or video supply chain We offer International projects with top brands Work with global teams of highly skilled, diverse peers Healthcare benefits Employee financial programs Paid time off and sick leave Upskilling, reskilling and certification courses Unlimited access to the Linked In Learning library and 22,000+ courses Global career opportunities Volunteer and community involvement opportunities EPAM Employee Groups Award-winning culture recognized by Glassdoor, Newsweek and Linked In EPAM is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
