PROCUREMENT MANAGER
Lead and develop the corporate procurement and sourcing strategy, ensuring the best conditions in terms of cost, quality, service, financing, and delivery for the organization.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement the corporate procurement and sourcing strategy.
- Define and manage Strategic Sourcing, negotiation, and supplier development strategies.
- Lead negotiations with domestic and international suppliers to obtain competitive pricing, quality, credit terms, lead times, and service conditions.
- Identify opportunities for savings, procurement consolidation, and cost optimization.
- Coordinate and supervise the corporate procurement team.
- Establish policies, procedures, KPIs, and controls for the procurement function.
- Consolidate purchasing requirements across different business units to achieve economies of scale.
- Develop, evaluate, and negotiate contracts and commercial agreements with strategic suppliers.
- Manage and develop the supplier base, evaluating performance, risks, quality, service, and commercial conditions.
- Participate in the identification and development of alternative suppliers to reduce supply risks.
- Oversee and ensure the proper execution of import and international trade processes, coordinating suppliers, customs brokers, and internal departments.
- Analyze import costs, logistics, tariffs, transit times, and international purchasing conditions.
- Monitor procurement KPIs, savings, supplier performance, delivery times, and commercial conditions.
- Prepare executive reports for Management regarding results, savings, risks, and sourcing opportunities.
- Drive standardization and continuous improvement of procurement processes across the Business Units.
Experience
- 3+ years of experience in strategic procurement, sourcing, or purchasing.
- Experience leading teams.
- Experience negotiating with domestic and international suppliers.
- Proven experience in imports and international trade.
- Experience managing corporate or multi-site procurement.
- Manufacturing industry experience is preferred.
Languages
- Advanced English is mandatory, with the ability to conduct negotiations and review contracts, quotations, and documentation with international suppliers.
