Junior JAVA Developer

Location: Funchal, Portugal

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Junior JAVA Developer to join our dynamic team in Funchal. As a Junior JAVA Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality software solutions for our clients. This is an urgent job opportunity with an attractive salary of 900$ per month.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with the team to design, develop and implement new software features

Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code using JAVA programming language

Troubleshoot and debug software issues in a timely manner

Ensure software meets functional requirements and quality standards

Keep up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in the industry

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

1-2 years of experience in JAVA development

Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming principles and design patterns

Proficiency in at least one database system (MySQL, Oracle, etc.)

Familiarity with Agile methodology and experience working in a team environment

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Spring Framework or similar frameworks

Familiarity with front-end development technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript

Knowledge of web services (SOAP/REST)

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
