Build Java and web applications for Motorola Solutions’ next-generation 911 platform as a software developer working with Agile Scrum teams. Apply curiosity and testing knowledge.

This experienced software developer contributes under senior guidance to analysis, development, design, and maintenance. The work includes Java, Angular, JavaScript, object-oriented design, Git workflows, and software testing. You will help create a high-availability emergency call handling solution deployable as a service or on premises. The team develops workflow enhancements for call handling, incident management, responder dispatching, and situational awareness across North American public safety answering points.

Key Responsibilities: Analyze, develop, design, and maintain software products

Assist with software and hardware system integration

Develop, validate, and test software components

Prepare and maintain software documentation

Apply knowledge under senior developer guidance

Requirements: Diploma of College Studies or relevant bachelor’s degree

Knowledge of Java and its development ecosystem

Knowledge of Angular and JavaScript web development

Understanding of object-oriented coding and design patterns

Bilingual French and English communication ability

Apply Java, web development, Git, and testing knowledge to Motorola Solutions’ emergency call handling software.
