Your Role As a Project Engineer at Kiewit Mexico, you will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to facilitate project execution while ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and budget standards. Your expertise will be essential in coordinating engineering tasks, managing project documentation, and ensuring technical solutions are aligned with client expectations.

Responsibilities Develop scopes of work, Deliverables lists, Man hour estimates, and schedules for assigned design packages in collaboration with discipline teams and subconsultants.

Coordinate technical risk assessments and ensure mitigation strategies are implemented.

Manage subcontractors’ performance, including compliance with contractual obligations, reporting, and schedule adherence.

Prepare technical design conferences, Constructability reviews.

Implement and monitor the Quality Management Plan for assigned scopes.

Oversee project controls inputs such as progress reporting and forecasting for designated work packages and/or designated project disciplines.

Maintains attention to detail and proactively addresses discrepancies.

Possess knowledge of close-out documentation from engineering with the EPC team.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field - PMP Certification is a plus

5-10 years of engineering experience, preferably in the construction or project management sector.

Discipline Lead with demonstrated capability of learning other engineering disciplines

Can support tasks on pursuits, front-end work of EPC execution

Can support managing specific disciplines during engineering execution.

Field exposure preferred Strong understanding of engineering principles, construction methodologies, and industry standards.

Familiarity with project management software and engineering design tools.

Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish
