Mainframe Developer

- Design, develop, test, and maintain mainframe applications

- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions

- Develop and support batch and online applications using COBOL, JCL, CICS, and DB2

- Perform code reviews, debugging, performance tuning, and optimization

- Support production incidents, root cause analysis, and issue resolution

- Collaborate with business analysts, architects, QA teams, and project stakeholders

- Ensure adherence to coding standards, security policies, and best practices

Requirements

- Strong experience in COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, VSAM, IMS, MQ Series, and TSO/ISPF

- Experience with production support and incident management

- Knowledge of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and DevOps practices

- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

- 6+ years of experience in Mainframe Development/Engineering

- Proven experience delivering enterprise-scale applications and production support

- Preferred: Mainframe modernization and cloud migration exposure

- Preferred: Experience with REST APIs and integration technologies

- Preferred: Knowledge of Git, CI/CD pipelines, and automation tools

- Preferred: Banking, Insurance, Healthcare, or Financial Services domain experience
